Jay-Z and Kanye West will christen SXSW, kicking off the Samsung concert series,Wednesday, March 12th at an undisclosed location and Samsung is giving away free wristband for entry for owners of Galaxy devices that have downloaded the new Samsung streaming radio app, Milk Music (only available on Galaxy devices) that just launched, March 7th. Wristbands were available starting Tuesday at 10:00 am C.T. at the Samsung Galaxy Experience pop-up location at 2nd and Trinity Street.
With Samsung’s Milk Music and Apple iTunes Radio entering the market things should get very interested for Pandora, Spotify, Beats Music and the like. Especially considering Milk Music is free and boast claims to have no advertising.
This marks the second time Samsung has hooked up with Jay-Z, the company also partnered with Roc Nation in 2013 for the release of Jay-Z’s, Magan Carta Holly Grail album to give away 1,000,000 free copies of the album for Galaxy owners via a special downloadable app.
